This is Miss Gracie, our 6-year-old “Parti” Yorkshire Terrier as of January 2017. She is around 4½ to 5 pounds, but not a teacup. She was the runt of the litter, but only on the outside.
Parti means tricolored. She has tons of white hair, but just like other Yorkies, her black hair is turning a bluish gray now.
She is as tough as they come and fiercely loyal, even defending us against her perceived danger of my daughter’s gentle giant Great Dane. She is Daddy’s Little Girl and our baby Velcro dog.
Here is a video of her as a puppy playing with her daddy.
She is very attached to me, and that is something I have had to get used to.

My last baby was Henry, a West Highland terrier. He was not as clingy; in fact, he didn’t like to be picked up in the air at all. He was so smart and is still missed very much. Henry was very special, very smart, and we loved him fiercely as he did us. He passed away from cancer when he was almost 16 years old.
Gracie had a lot to live up to. But she has made her way into our hearts. She is a forever puppy, even at this age and we love her very much.
